I am all about saving TIME when marketing online and this tip will help you do that. I stumbled across a feature on YouTube that will help you get organized if you are using interacting on YouTube in your marketing strategy.
To sort your YouTube subscriptions into Collections, go to your Subscriptions page on the left, and then Manage Subscriptions on the top right. Or you can click on Manage Subscriptions at the very bottom left of your list of channels you subscribe to.
From there click on Add Collection, give your collection a name, and add channels to it. You can either click on the channel logos,or you can use the Filter search to hone in on the ones you want. For example when I wanted to create a list for Social Media I searched on the word “social” to get any channel names that used that keyword in their title.
Once your subscriptions are in your collection you can go to the Manage Subscriptions area any time, click on a Collection and your “news feed” becomes a list of newest videos uploaded by the channels included in that Collection.
This is a great way to organize your connections, and save time! I often advocate only spending 15 minutes a day on each social media platform so you can get back to work, and sorting in this way will help you zero in on just the topics you would like to most interact with, whether it is to watch and learn, or to comment, or share, or communicate with that person’s network.
What sorts of collections are you going to create? I have one for Social Media, one for Local Businesses and will be creating others for personal use (foodies) and business (direct sellers, and speakers) and look forward to taming my long list of subscriptions!
Until next time,
