Help my daughter Alia make it to the National American Miss Pageant for California North! Alia is a State Finalist in the Teen division and is now seeking sponsors to help her meet her goal of being California Teen National American Miss. Can you help?
All contributions toward her sponsor fee of at least $45 will receive an interview about your business write up on MY website, which is a do-follow blog so your ad will help drive traffic to your website! Alia is also starting a blog at AliaMallorie.com and will write about you there as well! We want to make sure you receive some great visibility for your contribution. Thank you!
Add another $60 and your business can send us a business card ad to appear in the program for increased visibility.
This is a tax-deductible advertising expense and you will be provided with a receipt and thank you letter from Alia directly.
Please note: If you would like to support Alia but do not have a business to advertise, you are welcome to do so in the 2nd cart box. Just enter an amount over $2.00 in the Your Price box and donate to Alia’s dream. Any amount is welcome and appreciated! Again the 2nd box is for non-business donations. Unfortunately it doesn’t woe on mobile.

Dear Business Owner,
My name is Alia Salomon and am a high school Junior at Technology High School in Rohnert Park. I am honored to have been chosen as a California State Finalist in the National American Miss Pageant and would love your support in achieving my dream of representing our area in the state competition on June 15, 2014 in San Jose.
National American Miss is like no other pageant system. NAM is an age-appropriate “natural” pageant (minimal makeup and no beauty or swimsuit competition) that focuses on empowering and encouraging girls to be future leaders. NAM is the largest pageant system and has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau as one of the most respected and prestigious pageant systems in the world. Annually, NAM awards more than one million dollars in scholarships. prizes and awards earned by girls like me.
We compete in four areas:
- One-on-one interview skills
- Public speaking experience
- Poise and personality
- Community service projects
As a business that I admire, I would like to invite you to help me participate in the pageant by sponsoring me for part of my pageant fees which cover pageant production expenses.
Any amount is appreciated, and as a business sponsor with a sponsorship, your company will be featured in our blogs, and would be a tax deductible business advertising expense.
Thank you so much for your consideration. I am happy to answer any questions you might have and look forward to hearing from you!
A Little More About Me:
I am 16 years old and attend Technology High School in Rohnert Park as a Junior. I have a high interest in science and plan to major in pre-veterinary medicine in college. My top choices for colleges are UC Davis and Cal Poly because of their specialties in Animal Sciences. I am enjoying my time at Tech, especially in the integrated science and engineering classes. I also am taking a Spanish class at Santa Rosa Junior College.
I enjoy research and solving problems related to nature and living things. I recently was one of 6 finalists in our Synopsis Sonoma County Science Fair, and have been sponsored by Synopsis to move on to the California State Science Fair in Los Angeles at the end of April. My project is on the differences between bay and coastal hermit crabs.
My interest in science started young. In middle school I was also a finalist in the Sonoma County Science Fair and was selected to move on to the Regional San Francisco Science Fair. My project back then was on determining what material is best for cleaning up oil spills in the ocean. For 8th grade I even earned my school’s only “8th Grade Best” Science Award.
Recreationally, I have taken 2 years of ballroom dancing lessons . When I attended Analy High School last year, I was a cheerleader. At Tech High School I played Volleyball this year and plan to be on the Varsity team next year.
I help out wherever I can in our community. For example, I am active in my church’s teen youth group and am on the Core Leadership Team, helping to plan and conduct our weekly meetings. I enjoy contributing to service projects through our church and was sponsored to attend a national youth leadership conference last year. I have been volunteering on the weekends at the Rohnert Park Animal Shelter off and on for 3 years and look forward to continuing to do that.
I would love to answer any questions you might have about me. Feel free to contact me any time!
Thanks for your consideration!
